Mental Health Foundation

According to WHO, between 2015 and 2050, the proportion of the world's older adults is estimated to almost double from about 12% to 22% .

Approximately 15% of adults aged 60 and over suffer from mental health issues, including depression, dementia, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. At the same time, the geriatric population remains a largely igonred community in terms of awareness about and availability of mental health resources.
