ANNUAL EVENTS

Since 2014, every year on October 10, we celebrate World Mental Health Day in association with the Department of Psychiatry, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi at JLN Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi. Our aim with these events is to initiate conversations about mental health through the lens of the various themes as sanctioned by the World Federation for Mental Health that we work with every year. The biggest priority we have is youth engagement - MHFI was the first organisation to initiate youth engagement in discourses around mental health and we continually strive to move towards the same. Every year, we see a growing number of people joining us for the celebration of mental health and every year we are left with more and more motivation to continue doing our work.

Access Summit, 2020

Art has always been a close friend to mental health. Art provides space for expressions and feelings that might be difficult to articulate. With our Mental Health Festival of 2020 we brought together young artists from around the country to take up space and express their interpretations of mental well-being through their art. In doing so, not only were we able to participate in some crucial conversations but also experience first-hand the impact of art.
