ABOUT THE SUMMIT


Introduction: Based on reports, we observed that India's youth has one of the highest suicide rates in the World and felt encouraged towards organizing an impactful initiative that promotes the mental well-being of young people in India. Therefore, to fulfill our objective we planned to organize "India's First Youth Summit on Mental Health" celebrating the World Health Day as recognized by United Nations and WHO, every year on April 7.

Theme: Acceptance, Exploration and Solutions – Acceptance of mental well-being as an integral part of our holistic healthcare, Exploration of innovative approaches for tackling challenges in the field of mental health and Solutions for curbing India’s current mental health crisis.

Events: The Summit will have Solution oriented Panel Discussion, engaging Individual Talks and some Psychological Activities along with a Break to buy and enjoy Mental Health Goodies and Delicious Food.
